1st Vice-District Governor for District N-1

2nd VDG Stewart MacDonald joined Lionism as a charter member of the St. Martins and District Lions Club in May of 1977. He transferred to the Barnsville and District Lions Club in January 1994 due to being transferred in his job as a Province of New Brunswick Highway Maintenance Supervisor. In 2004 he transferred to Pickwauket Lions Club as a Charter Member.
Stewart has held all offices at the club level except Tail Twister. In St. Martins he chaired the building of the 10 unit Lions Manor-Seniors Housing Project and a 2 unit low income housing project. He also chaired many other fund raising projects.
At the District level he has served on several committees including Zone Chair, Deputy District Governor, Region Chair, Youth Exchange Chair and Instructor of Secretary’s School.
Stewart has received several awards including Lion of the Year several times, Attendance and Chairman Awards. He has received The Melvin Jones Fellow, and An International President’s Certificate of Appreciation.
Stewart served as Volunteer Fireman and Ambulance attendant with the St. Martins Volunteer Fire Department and has been a First Aid Instructor with the St. John Ambulance.
Stewart retired from DOT in 2005. He enjoys the friendship of his best friend and wife Heather who between them have four sons (2 each) and six grandchildren.

2nd Vice-District Governor for District N-1

Lucio Cordisco was elected 2nd Vice District Governor of District N-1 at the annual convention in Moncton 17 April 2011. Lucio Cordisco was born in Italy, Montefalcone del Sanio,p.Campobasso, and was a tailor by trade. He is presently the Mayor of the village of Maisonnette.
Lucio joined Lionism in 1968 when he was inducted into the Laval Lions Club. In 1993, he was founding President of Club Montreal-Aide-Visuelle. In 1997 he transferred to Saint Adolphe d’Howard Lions Club and then he transferred in 2005 to the Shippagan Lions Club.
Since he joined Lions in 1968 he served 37 years in Quebec and 6 years in New Brunswick: altogether 43 years. He is always glad to serve the Lions, International Lionism is his life. Lucio has been awarded many awards for his dedication to service such as the Melvin Jones Award in 2008 and other certificates of appreciation.
During his 43 years in Lionism, Lucio attended the 1st International Convention in 1972 in Mexico City and again in Boston in 2006. In addition he attended 15 other International Conventions plus almost all conventions in District A and A-8 and conventions in District N and N-1.
2nd VG Governor Lucio and Majella Parise have three wonderful boys: Giovanni , Ricardo , Benito and 4 grandchildren: Vanessa, Jean-Francis, Thomas and Enrick
